Le Pub Cellar is a subterranean event space nestled in the basement of Le Pub (next door to Kirk’s), providing a smart and intimate setting. This hidden gem exudes old-world charm, achieved by descending a black steel staircase to reveal a cozy bunker-like room. The design features contrast the rustic, rough bluestone walls (original to the building) with smart, glass-fronted wine cabinets laden with bottles. It’s an ideal venue for an intimate dinner party, private celebration, or corporate event where a sense of exclusivity and classic style is desired.

FAQs

We know the devil is in the details. So here are some frequently asked questions that we hope will help. Please have a browse. If your particular query isn’t listed here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly; we are always happy to clarify or answer any questions you may have.

  • Our experienced chefs are able to cater for extensive dietary requirements, but please send these through well in advance, including guest names and specific dietary needs to make sure we can best look after them. We do not cater for dietary preferences.

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a traditional cash bar (where guests purchase their own drinks at the bar) for private events.

    To ensure a seamless experience for you and your guests, we offer two flexible alternatives:

    Beverage Packages: A fixed per-person price for unlimited service of your selected wine and beer list for the duration of your event.

    Beverage on Consumption: Guests order from a pre-selected list of drinks, and the total is added to a single tab to be paid at the conclusion of the event.

    Tip: If you choose a beverage-on-consumption tab, you are welcome to set a strict budget limit to keep total control over your event spend.
